Liverpool winger Xherdan Shaqiri is reportedly under consideration at SS Lazio for a summer transfer.
The 29-year-old recently spoke of a desire to play regular first-team football and shown a particular admiration towards joining Maurizio Sarri’s side.
Currently away as part of the Reds’ squad preparing for the 2021/22 campaign, Shaqiri could be set to follow Harry Wilson, Marko Grujic and Taiwo Awoniyi out of Anfield.
According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), as cited by Jerry Mancini on Twitter, the Biancocelesti are keen on the Swiss ace.

Signed from Stoke City for £13million (BBC), Shaqiri has struggled for consistency on Merseyside – scoring eight goals and assisting nine others in 63 appearances.
Last season the 96-cap international veteran contributed four assists and one goal in 22 outings across all competitions.

Valued at £10.8million and under contract until 2023 at Anfield (Transfermarkt), Liverpool should be cashing in on the diminutive winger this summer.
As the club look to raise funds for Jurgen Klopp’s own targets, selling Shaqiri will likely offer a healthy boost to the budget and frankly, the versatile Swiss ace’s influence has been on the wane for some time.
Shaqiri himself suggested Liverpool would be open to a sale and it could now just be a case of receiving the right offer.
A fresh start off the back of an impressive Euro 2020 campaign looks to be the best option for all parties.
