Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been praising the performance of both full-backs following the 2-0 victory over Burnley at Anfield.
The Reds were tested on their return to a capacity crowd in the Premier League and had to fight hard for every inch against a battling visiting side.
Goals either side of half-time from Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane ultimately proved to be enough for Klopp’s side and Liverpool sit temporarily top of the league with two wins from two.
Speaking post-match, as cited by Paul Gorst on Twitter, the German boss hailed the displays of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kostas Tsimikas in particular.

As regular left-back Andy Robertson returned to the bench following an ankle ligament injury, Tsimikas made a case for remaining in the side long-term.
The Greek international delivered a pinpoint cross for Jota to open the scoring before completing three clearances, four key passes and making one interception (Sofascore).

Klopp has himself a selection dilemma ahead of Chelsea at home next Saturday.
Albeit Robertson will be the favourite to return to the starting lineup, Tsimikas has certainly earned the chance to be in the conversation with his first two appearances of the season.
Strength in-depth, or a lack thereof, has been bemoaned previously at Anfield and could finally be looking like a thing of the past as Klopp suddenly has options aplenty.
