Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott put in another eye-catching performance as the Reds were held 1-1 by Chelsea at Anfield on Saturday.
Named in Jurgen Klopp’s side from the outset for the biggest game of the season so far, the 18-year-old showed maturity beyond his years once again.
Far from being thrown into the deep end, Elliott has already shown signs of becoming a key component of Klopp’s plans this term.
Former Arsenal defender Lee Dixon has joined in the many admirers of the teenager and told NBC Sports of a rather grandiose likeness.

Whilst comparisons to a six-time Ballon d’Or winner with a record as inevitable as Messi’s could be premature, there are few that could doubt Liverpool have a superstar in the making on their books.
Confident in possession and always looking to make things happen, Klopp clearly trusts the player immensely to show faith in a teenager from the start against the European Champions.
If Elliott turns out to emulate even half of what Messi has achieved then Kopites can be very excited by the prospect.
