Liverpool are reportedly prepared to break their transfer record in order to sign Barcelona midfielder Pedri.
The Reds are believed to be ready to top the £75million spent in order to bring Virgil van Dijk to Anfield and pay £88million for the Barca starlet.
Having graduated from the famous La Masia academy, Pedri has burst onto the senior scene for both club and country in the last 12 months.
According to a report from Spanish outlet OD and journalist Eduardo Inda, as cited by LFC Transfer Room on Twitter, Liverpool are among the main candidates for the teenage sensation.

The initial report claims that Klopp has been particularly impressed with the 10 times capped ace’s ‘style, pace and vision’ – abilities that led to Ian Wright to describe the wonderkid as a ‘frightening’ talent.
Last season Pedri scored three and assisted three other goals in 37 La Liga outings before earning an impressive 7.18 Sofascore rating from six starts at the European Championships.

Valued at £72million and in the final 12 months of a contract at the Camp Nou (Transfermarkt), it seems immensely unlikely either Liverpool or Manchester City would splash out such a fee for a player available for free next summer.
Given the treacherous financial situation at the Catalan giants, there is a distinct possibility Pedri will be allowed to leave as a free agent – an eventuality the Reds should be all over.
Already oozing class despite his tender age, Liverpool could well set up their midfield for years to come with the Spaniard alongside the heavily linked Jude Bellingham.
