Liverpool are reportedly ‘willing to invest significant sums’ to sign Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.
The Reds have previously been linked with the 21-year-old star and could make the Serbian their priority to bolster the attacking ranks at Anfield.
Serie A giants Juventus are believed to be in ‘in the front row’ of the pursuit as clubs from around Europe take an interest in Vlahovic.
According to a report from Tuttomercatoweb, as cited by Liverpool FC News on Twitter, Liverpool are ‘ready’ to swoop.
The report claims that the 12-cap star ‘will leave’ Fiorentina either in January or next summer.
Following on from a remarkable 21 goal league campaign in 2020/21, the frontman described by the Italian media as a ‘force of nature’ has scored six times in nine appearances this season.

Valued at £45million and under contract until 2023 in Florence (Transfermarkt), an important tipping point would appear to be on the horizon for the Serbian.
Despite possessing different attributes to Roberto Firmino – namely aerial prowess – Vlahovic operates between two flying wingers at Fiorentina, similar to the system employed by Jurgen Klopp.
Perhaps more of a direct goal threat than Firmino, signing the Serb could be part of the evolution at Liverpool.
