Liverpool are reportedly ‘monitoring’ the situation surrounding Fulham starlet Fabio Carvalho.
The 19-year-old has been at the centre of a frenzy of speculation in recent months following a breakthrough in senior football and ongoing contract issues.
Despite the London club previously being ‘confident’ that Carvalho would sign a new deal at Craven Cottage, time is ticking to reach an agreement.
According to a report from Football League World, as cited on Twitter, the Reds are now taking a closer look at the teenager.
The report claims that Liverpool are among ‘plenty of sides’ watching on as high-flying Fulham become concerned they may lose the England Under 18 international.
Prior to injury, illness and fitness concerns this season, the Portugal-born attacking midfielder had scored three times and provided one assist in five Championship outings.
Described as ‘fantastic’ by manager Marco Silva, Carvalho had earned an impressive 7.30 Sofascore rating from five league appearances.

Signing the most exciting young talent the country has to offer has certainly been part of the modus operandi at Anfield in recent times.
Liverpool have secured the services of the likes of Kaide Gordon, Bobby Clark and Fulham’s very own academy graduate Harvey Elliott over the last three years.
Valued at £225,000 and out of contract in eight months (Transfermarkt), given the impressive early exposure to senior football it’s no surprise to see the Reds are keen on bringing Carvalho to Merseyside.
