Liverpool are back in Premier League action after three weeks, and they take on Fulham at Anfield in game week 32 and Arne Slot has made five changes to the side that lost 2-0 against Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League

Slot’s side are on a three-match losing streak, after losing to Brighton & Hove Albion just before the international break. Since the players have returned, they have lost 4-0 to Manchester City in the FA Cup quarterfinals and 2-0 to PSG in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals first leg in Paris.

The Reds need to get back to winning ways, as they are now under pressure from Brentford, Everton, and Chelsea for the fifth spot in the table. They currently occupy the final UEFA Champions League spot, but a slip-up could see them crash to sixth if the FIFA Club World Cup champions beat Manchester City on Sunday, April 12.

Confirmed Liverpool XI vs Fulham

Giorgi Mamardashvili remains in goal with Alisson still ruled out with an injury. The goalkeeper is looking for his first clean sheet for Liverpool since the 1-0 win over Real Madrid in November.

Jeremie Frimpong moves to right-back with Joe Gomez getting benched. Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate remain as the center-backs from the PSG game.

Andy Robertson, who announced his decision to leave Anfield this summer, starts ahead of Milos Kerkez at left-back. In the midfield, Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister have been benched, with Curtis Jones and Dominik Szoboszlai starting today.

Florian Wirtz plays in the attacking midfield role, with Mohamed Salah and Rio Ngumoha on the wings. Cody Gakpo leads the attack despite Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak being on the bench.

Liverpool XI: Giorgi Mamardashvili, Jeremie Frimpong, Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Andy Robertson, Curtis Jones, Dominik Szoboszlai, Mohamed Salah, Florian Wirtz, Rio Ngumoha, Cody Gakpo.

Subs: Woodman, Gomez, Kerekez, Isak, Mac Allister, Chiesa, Ekitike, Gravenberch, Nyoni

Liverpool vs Fulham prediction

Liverpool should be able to get all three points today despite the big changes to the starting XI.

Salah will be out to prove a point after he was benched for the entire game against PSG, while Nghumoha and Robertson will be keen on keeping their place in the starting XI for the second leg against PSG next week.

Curtis Jones has to make the most of his chance once, and he will be key in controlling the flow of the game.

Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Fulham.
