As speculation continues to increase over the future of Mario Balotelli; there have been revelations about his contract agreement with Liverpool leaked.
According to the Mirror, if Balotelli was to stay at the Reds beyond this transfer window – he would be rewarded with a hefty sum, thought to be in the six-figures.
Balotelli, who turned 25 on Wednesday, has been told that he isn’t in Brendan Rodgers’ future plans and the manager has made this perfectly clear to him and the public by making him train with the youth squad.
The report also notes that Liverpool are very reluctant to see Balotelli take the ‘loyalty’ bonus, and are willing to pay up to 60% of the Italian’s wages, if he does go out on loan.
It is also stated in the article that he is determined to pick up the hefty loyalty bonus and that his isolation from the first-team squad isn’t going to have too much of an impact on this.
The tabloid also claim that the striker isn’t keen on a move back to Italy, with the likes of Lazio and Sampdoria interested.
Balotelli wasn’t in the squad against Stoke on Sunday, and is unlikely to feature in the coming weeks.
