Premier League leaders Liverpool have been closely monitoring Coventry City full-back Sam McCallum.
The Reds have been linked with a January move for the left-back, as have fellow Premier League sides Manchester City and Chelsea.

The 19-year-old is having an impressive season and Coventry boss Mark Robins knows that it could be difficult to keep hold of his star man.
As quoted on the Coventry Telegraph, Robins said:
There’s nothing there at the minute that I am hearing of and you would expect to have heard something by now if something is going to happen.
So it would be something out of the blue and a surprise, but we will wait and see.
You never say no, because clearly, football is a funny old game, as someone once said.

McCallum is one of the highest-rated players in the country at the moment and securing his services would be a massive victory for the Reds.
However, there are understood to be over 20 teams watching McCallum so there could be a big battle for his signature next month.
Robins’ comments offer some hope to the Reds though, as he has refused to rule out a move away for his player.
