With football on pause for the time being, Liverpool are still officially waiting to be crowned as the Premier League champions, as they need just two more wins to win the club’s first title in 30 years.
Still, despite this looming success, the Reds are still being linked with transfers, with some doubts still remaining about their strength in depth, especially in attacking positions, which is why those who think Timo Werner is set to join the Reds could be interested in using a Betfair promo code if they fancy putting some money on that outcome, with the German currently odds-on to make a switch to Anfield.
Whilst Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are all bonafide superstars, the depth behind those three isn’t of a similar standard.
Divock Origi will forever be remembered by Liverpool fans for some of the goals he’s scored, most notably the one in the Champions League final, but there are doubts about his long-term suitability as a player for a team looking to win multiple trophies each season.
Werner’s record at RB Leipzig has been excellent and if he could replicate that at Liverpool, he’d be an excellent addition to an already excellent football team.
