Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson recently sported a new look, after growiing a more than respectable moustache during the international break.
The Brazilian shot-stopper’s facial hair got a huge reaction on social media and rightly so, as it was an impressive piece of facial hair that deserved the attention.
However, a recent post from his wife revealed that the 28-year-old has taken to his razor and shaved off the masterpiece and fans are more than upset…
The great video from Goal showed just how a big a difference the lack of facial hair has made and I for one am more than upset, as most fans are.
Alisson was brave to grow the facial hair in he first place, with quick comparisons to former goalkeeper Bruce Grobelaar, and even former Reds striker Ian Rush springing to mind.
I for one enjoyed the look and it was definitely a bold choice that the footballing world seemed to enjoy.
The Brazilian will go into the game against Aston Villa tomorrow with his return to normality and hopefully it will help the squad in taking their attention away from Alisson’s facial hair and focus on the game at hand.
Liverpool suffered a tough defeat to Real Madrid on Tuesday, which could be a reason behind Alisson’s new look, but one thing for sure is that the Reds must bounce back in the Premier League tomorrow afternoon.
