Liverpool forward Xhedran Shaqiri has told friends that he wants to leave the club at the end of the season.
According to Football Insider, Shaqiri wants to move on from Anfield ahead of the 2020/21 campaign, due to the limited game time he is getting under Jurgen Klopp.
Shaqiri has only made three appearances for Liverpool, all off of the bench, with two coming in the Premier League and one in the Champions League.

Klopp clearly favours others ahead of Shaqiri in the pecking order at the moment, with young players like Rhian Brewster and Harvey Elliott coming through the ranks and starting ahead of him. Liverpool have also been linked with Bournemouth forward Ryan Fraser, who could be his replacement.
Fraser is out of contract at the end of the season and could sign for Liverpool on a free transfer. He is of a similar build to Shaqiri and likes to be direct in his play on the wing. He could be the perfect replacement for Shaqiri and Liverpool could make a profit depending on if they can find a buyer for the Swiss international.
Shaqiri joined Liverpool for £13.5m from Stoke in the summer of 2018 and scored six goals in 30 appearances for the club during his first season.
