Liverpool’s deal with Nabil Fekir is not dead yet, according to the Mirror.
The Mirror report that talks are set to resume after the World Cup, despite Lyon today putting out a statement saying that negotiations had been halted with Liverpool over any potential deal.

Fekir’s transfer saga has been a long one, with Lyon recently denying any deal would happen before the World Cup, that starts next week, before rumours emerged that a deal could be completed by the end of this week.

However, it does not look likely that any deal for Fekir will happen whilst France are in the World Cup, with Fekir being named as part of the 23 man squad that will play in Russia.
With France being one of the hotly tipped favourites for the tournament, it could be a while before Liverpool and Lyon return to the negotiating table.
