In the past, the LFC Academy has been recognised as one of the best in England with club legends coming through the youth setup at Kirkby.
However, this has not been the case for all highly-rated young players who have arrived at the club.
Over the past few seasons, Liverpool have deemed many highly-touted Academy youngsters as surplus to requirements due to different circumstances.
Many of these players struggled to have any real impact at the club, whilst others were seen by many to be Liverpool players for the foreseeable future.
Whilst many youngsters fail to even record a senior appearance for the first team, these players all had an impact, be it big or small, on the starting XI.
I’ve taken a look at four of these former players and ask if Liverpool will regret losing them.
