February was a mixed month for Liverpool. It started off poorly with no wins in three against Leicester, Sunderland and then West Ham United.
Things did pick up, however, with a demolition of Aston Villa at Villa Park and a narrow 1-0 win against FC Augsburg over two legs.
The final game of the month was a heartbreaking one, though, with a penalty shootout defeat to Manchester City in the Capital One Cup final.
