Grujic to rejoin Cardiff on loan

Newly promoted Cardiff City have agreed a deal with Liverpool to re-sign Marko Grujic on loan for the 2018/19 season, according to Football Insider.

The midfielder impressed as he spent the second half of last season on loan at the Cardiff City Stadium where he made 14 appearances, hitting the back of the net on one occassion to help them secure promotion.

Several other clubs have approached Liverpool this summer with their interest in signing Grujic, but it is believed that Grujic favours a move back to Neil Warnock’s side.

The Serbian international has reportedly told Warnock that he wished to rejoin the club this summer and will turn down any other offers that come in for him/

Talks have been ongoing between Cardiff and Liverpool since the end of season with a deal to see Grujic move back to the Welsh capital on loan now thought to be nearing completion.
