Inter Milan have joined Liverpool in the pursuit for Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman, according to CalcioMercato.
The Dutch midfielder has become a crucial part of the Italian side’s midfield, and played as Roma shocked the world by knocking Barcelona out of the Champions League on Wednesday on away goals, with a late fightback sending the Italian side into the last four with Liverpool.
However, CalcioMercato say that reports in Italy are linking the midfielder with Inter Milan, with Luciano Spalletti seeing the midfielder as a great option for his midfield.
Strootman had previously been linked with a switch to Anfield with Liverpool, meaning that the Reds could face competition if they want to sign the Dutchman this Summer.
Strootman has appeared 27 times for Roma so far this season. Te midfielder renewed his contract at the Stadio Olimpico last Summer and his current deal at Roma ends in the summer of 2022.
