Earlier today, Liverpool confirmed the signing of Japanese international Takumi Minamino from Austrian side RB Salzburg.
Minamino starred twice against the Reds in the UEFA Champions League group stage this season.
He will officially be a Liverpool player on 1st January 2020 and former Manchester United playmaker Shinji Kagawa had a message for his compatriot.
Twitter: @takumina0116 おめでとう!
最高な挑戦が始まるな!
世界最高の監督の元で自分信じて頑張れ!
俺も頑張るぞ! (@S_Kagawa0317)
The Tweet translates to:
Congrats! Do not start the best challenge! Believe yourself and do your best under the best director in the world! I will do my best!
Minamino’s versatility and ability to be able to play anywhere along the frontline will be valuable to Klopp in the second half of the season.

Kagawa calling Jurgen Klopp the best manager in the world will certainly pain some United fans.
However, you can’t say that he is lying. Klopp is the best coach on the planet at the moment and this bargain signing only reinforces that statement.
