Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 away from home on Saturday in old school fashion.
In the first-half, Liverpool looked the dominant team. They had numerous chances, but could not find the net. However, due to Liverpool’s superiority Roberto Firmino broke the deadlock with a beautiful finish.
In the second-half, Mourinho’s Spurs took it into another gear and put Liverpool under immense pressure. The current World Champions seemed very sloppy, however Tottenham were not potent in the final third. Thanks to Firmino’s winner, Jurgen Klopp’s men are now 16 points clear with a game in hand.
Liverpool fans on social media expressed their delight over this cruical win, and here is what they had to say.

READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT:
That was the toughest performance this season, alongside Sheffield away when we scraped a 0-1.
I am honestly starting to lose words for this phenomenal team. We are witnessing something generational and all I can say is, the mentality monsters keep marching on.
In my opinion, the performance was pretty poor. There was numerous misplace passes, however all of that is meaningless, because Liverpool kept a clean sheet and managed to achieve 3 points.
