Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that midfielder Naby Keita may have suffered an injury in the Carabao Cup win against Arsenal.
Keita, who has not been such a regular starter for the Reds this season, slipped over during the game and was seen limping afterwards.
Twitter: Klopp on Keita: He slipped, was limping. We have to see, hopefully not too serious. (@thisisanfield)
The midfielder was part of a 10-goal thriller at Anfield, with Divock Origi sending the game to penalties with his late equaliser before Curtis Jones scored the winning penalty to send the Reds into the quarter-finals.
Several Liverpool fans reacted on Twitter to the potential injury.
Twitter: Naby Keita getting injured by falling over is peak Naby Keita at this point. The new Lallana… (@stehoare)
Twitter: @KloppStyle Problem is keita has a serious groin injury that keeps recurring (@ParkTheBus8989)
Twitter: It’s almost like Keïta getting the same injury, means he wasn’t given enough time to recover again. Leave him alone (@Ifcchriss)
Twitter: Keita injury is a big setback though. Such a shame. (@Shai_lfc)

If it is a serious injury, then this is a huge setback for Keita.
He has had a lot of trouble with injuries in his Liverpool career so far, so this won’t make too good of reading for many Reds fans.
For the sake of his Liverpool career, Keita will be hoping that this is just a knock and he is available for the forthcoming fixtures.
