Paris Saint Germain striker Kylian Mbappe has been linked with a move to Liverpool recently.
The Frenchman was on target for the Ligue 1 champions again over the weekend is and is widely regarded as one of the world’s best players, despite only being 21 years old.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has praised Mbappe on multiple occasions but has hinted that he is too expensive to sign.
Klopp was recently asked why he has no French players in his squad and as quoted on the Express, he said:
Kylian plays for PSG. Griezmann has joined Barcelona.
Obviously you know how good your team is.
We would like a French player but some of them are too expensive for us.

Klopp has a point. Mbappe is probably worth over £150m and although the Reds are financially stable, paying that amount of money for one player isn’t desirable.
Mbappe will also command a huge weekly wage and although having him at the club would be incredible, the numbers behind it are too large.
The dream of signing Mbappe can be put on hold for now. Who knows what the future will hold.
