Liverpool have been given a huge boost ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League tie with Napoli as Jurgen Klopp issued a positive update on Mohamed Salah’s fitness.
According to the Mirror, Klopp revealed following the 2-1 win over Crystal Palace that Salah will be fit for Napoli’s trip to Anfield on Wednesday after recovering from an ankle injury.
Mo is all good. He couldn’t train for nine days. He was with Egypt, went home, trained 60-70% the day before yesterday, and was first time 100% yesterday.

We had to make the decision whether to start him or not. We didn’t start him, we were about to bring him on when we scored the winner (with five minutes remaining). So we could rest him today. That’s really good. Wednesday he will be back.

Salah’s return to fitness will clearly provide Liverpool with a huge boost ahead of Wednesday’s clash at Anfield.
The Egypt international has been troubled with an ankle problem since picking up a knock against Leicester City earlier this season, and will no doubt be eager to return to action after missing Saturday’s win over Palace.
Klopp’s men will be eager to see off their Group E rivals on Wednesday as a win will secure top spot in the group for Liverpool.
