RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krosche claims no bids have been made for Timo Werner.
The striker is being strongly linked with a move to Liverpool, with a number of other top clubs also interested in signing him.
Speaking to Sport Bild, Krosche played down talk of Werner leaving, even though he understands why he may want to move on.
There aren’t many things that favour him leaving us.
There has been nothing at all. But it’s normal that Timo gets into the focus of other clubs. He’s playing a very, very good season and scores very, very often.
Timo has a long-term contract and there are not many things that favour him leaving us. We play Champions League, we have a super coaching team and we still want to achieve a lot.

Some Liverpool fans might feel concerned about this update, but I don’t believe this changes the situation at all.
Werner has openly spoken of his admiration for the Reds, all but confirming his willingness to join the club, and the reliability of many reports suggest he is a primary transfer target.
To counter Krosche’s point, Werner would be guaranteed Champions League football at Liverpool next season, and could also have a strong chance of going all the way with the Reds – as the club did last season. While Krosche can see Werner staying, there are plenty of factors that could attract him to Anfield.
