“Let me breathe please.” Liverpool fans react to a win against Brighton

Liverpool beat Brighton 2-1 at Anfield to go 11 points clear of Manchester City.

In the early stages of the first half, Trent Alexander- Arnold once again proved why he is one of the best right backs in football, by assisting the Dutch giant Virgil Van Dijk, twice. The Seagulls looked the better team towards the end of the first half, but Liverpool entered the break two goals up.

In the second half, the current European Champions seemed sloppy and lethargic.  Due to this, Alisson was sent off for a red card and Brighton got a free kick. Lewis Dunk wonderfully converted the free kick which made Liverpool fans have a nervous ending to a game, once again.

Liverpool fans express their delight by gaining three crucial points.

READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT:

Once again, the “mentality monsters” keep on marching on. Liverpool just love making us fans feel uncomfortable, right?

This game was absolutely massive, especially witnessing Manchester City drop points at Newcastle. It was vital that we stretched the gap today, so we did!

Overall, it was very poor performance. However, we won and we are still unbeaten in the league, and I can’t complain with that.
