Liverpool have cooled their interest in Stoke City’s Xherdan Shaqiri, with Jurgen Klopp instead looking at other targets.
Shaqiri had reportedly been a top target for Klopp this Summer after Stoke City’s relegation to the Championship.
The Swiss star had been a key player for the Potters after signing for the side in 2015. However, it would be too late to keep Stoke in the Premier League.

However, Liverpool have reportedly cooled their interest in signing the Swiss winger, despite the reported £12.5 million clause in his contract that would allow the Reds to easily sign the midfielder.
Sky Sports, via the Mirror, report that Liverpool have dropped their interest in Shaqiri and that has lead to him falling to number nine of the Transfer Hound’s Hot-O-Meter.
Liverpool also pulled out of a deal to sign Nabil Fekir, with the Reds short of crucial attacking options going forward.
Klopp’s side have also been linked with a move for Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele.
