Liverpool have joined the race to sign exciting Lyon youngster Mathis Rayan Cherki, according to 90min.
The 16-year-old is a target for both Manchester City and Manchester United, with the Reds now also throwing their name into the hat.
Cherki has already played in Ligue 1 and the Champions League for Lyon, despite his tender years.
Liverpool are believed to be ‘hopeful’ of signing the attacker, but Real Madrid are also mentioned as a potential option.

Jurgen Klopp has always been an advocate of youth, so it is no surprise to see the Reds linked with Cherki.
Liverpool are a club looking towards the future, as well as focusing on current success.
There is already some special talent in the academy in Kirkby and Cherki would be an excellent addition.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is not easy to deal with, however, as mentioned in the report, so it may be a difficult transfer to get over the line.
