Liverpool beat Genk away from home 4-1 in an impressive and comfortable display on Wednesday night.
In the first half, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored a peach of a goal, which was his first in the Champions League since April 2018.
Genk looked dangerous on the counter-attack. They got behind Liverpool’s defence numerous times and were unlucky not to get the goal.
The current European Champions cruised through the second half using their experience. Oxlade-Chamberlain got another goal, Salah and Mane also joined in the act. However, with sloppy defending, Genk managed to get a consolation goal.
After a comfortable finish to the game, these Liverpool fans gave their thoughts on Twitter, with plenty hailing Oxlade-Chamberlain’s performance.

READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT
Well, that was a joy to watch.
That was the first time in a long time, where I felt relaxed watching Liverpool play.
It was well known before kick-off that Naby Keita would feature, however Klopp dropped a bombshell by adding Oxlade-Chamberlain in that midfield too.
The midfield line-up was quality. From Keita’s dynamism and Oxlade-Chamberlain’s flair, it was refreshing to watch.
Overall, it was a good day at the office and well deserved three points.
Liverpool’s next opponents are Tottenham and they’ll hope to keep their unbeaten streak intact.
