The Dutch midfielder’s deal at the Reds runs until 2021, as per Transfermarkt, meaning that he will only have one year left on his contract during the summer window.
Wijnaldum has established himself as a key figure since joining from Newcastle United back in 2016, making over 170 apperances, and scoring 16 goals.
Several Liverpool fans took to Twitter to share their views about the video, with many excited that Wijnaldum could have potentially signed a new deal with the Reds.
