Speaking at his press conference ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League opener against Norwich on Friday, Jurgen Klopp was keen to praise Naby Keita, who is now fit again after missing the end of last season with an injury that also impacted his role at the African Cup of Nations.
When asked about Keita, Klopp said:
You could see already that [Naby is] much more settled in the team: completely different body language and everything is different.

Keita showed signs of promise last season, but his campaign was affected by injuries and he never made the impact that was expected upon his arrival.
However, now that he is fit and settled, Reds’ fans will be hoping he can replicate the form he showed in the Bundesliga and therefore, have a major role to play in Liverpool’s season.
