Mane captained Senegal to the final of the African Cup of Nation, where they lost 1-0 to Algeria and he was given a few weeks off to rest after the tournament.
The winger only returned to Melwood on Monday but Klopp revealed that he’s returned in good shape and as such, he could feature on Friday.
Some Liverpool fans, as is often the case, took to Twitter to react to the news.
These fans, understandably, were happy to see that Mane could take part in the game.

However, others used the winger’s return as an opportunity to gripe about the club deciding not to sign another forward during the summer, as Klopp confirmed that any activity is unlikely on deadline day.
He’ll have to be. There’s no quality cover.

Yeah…who needs a rest. Might as well run our front three into the ground from Week 1. Absolutely crazy not a single front three signing was made. Borderline lunacy. #LFC
