READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT
With Fabinho now out for up to eight weeks, Oxlade-Chamberlain has an excellent chance to nail down a place in Klopp’s starting line-up. If he can continue to impress and perform on a consistent basis, there is no doubting that Klopp will keep picking him in midfield – with Jordan Henderson now occupying the deeper role.
Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gini Wijnaldum should be playing ahead of Henderson and looking to retain possession and create chances for the front three. The likes of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane are good enough on their own for Oxlade-Chamberlain not to need to do too much – just play it simple and keep it ticking.
