Liverpool fans react to tweet about Jurgen Klopp and Sadio Mane

With Liverpool expected to be changing their kit manufacturers from New Balance to Nike, it is being reported that both Jurgen Klopp and Sadio Mane will also make similar individual switches.

The pair currently have deads with New Balance too, but they’re expected to sign Nike deals.

That’s all well and good but Liverpool FC fan account Anfield Edition gave Reds’ fans a big scare when they tweeted out that news in the following manner.

BREAKING: Jurgen Klopp and Sadio Mane are both expected to leave New Balance and sign a partnership with Nike. #LFC pic.twitter.com/lp4yEgbvf2

These LFC fans admitted that they feared the worse when they caught glimpses of the words ‘Klopp’, ‘Mane’ and ‘leave’ in one tweet!

It makes sense for Nike to try to get two of the biggest names connected with Liverpool signed up to commercial deals and the duo are more than likely to get a bit more money from Nike too.

However, when I first saw the Anfield Edition tweet, I must admit, my heart did sink a bit too. Twitter admins need to start taking into account us skim readers when drafting their posts from now on!
