Plenty of Liverpool fans have revealed that they’d rather see Pep Lijnders replace Jurgen Klopp in 2024.
In a discussion on social media, Steven Gerrard had been suggested as a possible replacement for Klopp.
The two will both see their respective Liverpool and Rangers contracts run out in 2024, with many believing this is a sign that their former midfielder will replace the German.
However, these Liverpool fans on Twitter have been making a case for Lijnders to take over.

It has been reported that Liverpool would consider giving the job to Lijnders when Klopp does eventually leave Anfield.
When the time comes, it’ll be a sad day for the club and supporters. For whoever takes over, it’ll be a huge task of maintaining the very high standards that the German has set.
The appeal of bringing Lijnders in is clear to see. Having worked alongside Klopp, he’s already familiar with the way the club is ran and coming in as a number two, you could argue there would be less pressure on his shoulders compared to someone brought in from the outside.
