Liverpool Football club has seen some of its biggest progression and growth in recent history.
The FSG takeover just over ten years ago and the appointment of Jurgen Klopp in 2016 has seen a real change in the club.
Both the mentality of the players and the financial growth behind the scenes has made Liverpool one of the powerhouses of European football once again.
So much so, that the recent list of the most valuable clubs in the world from Forbes sees Liverpool make a real jump.
Sports outlet Goal tweeted the list earlier today, showing just how much the club has grown…
The club has leapfrogged Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal since 2016 when they were eight in the table.
Five years on and the growth of the club is something hard to comprehend and shows just how big the club is now.
Gone are the days of not contending with the best in Europe, with Liverpool now one of the teams to beat as the fourth richest club in the world.
Our Premier League and Champions League success over the last few seasons is no doubt a contributing factor to that growth.
With a current value of $4.10bn, Liverpool are officially one of the biggest clubs in the world once again – a title that they deserve.
