Liverpool have reportedly expressed an interest in completing a surprise move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer, according to 90min.
The Arsenal striker could leave the Emirates at the end of the season, with a host of top clubs monitoring his situation.
Chelsea and Barcelona are also mentioned as potential suitors for the 30-year-old, who has scored 61 goals in just 96 appearances for Arsenal.
Jurgen Klopp is believed to think highly of the Gabon superstar, following their time together at Borussia Dortmund.

While there is no denying Aubameyang’s status as a world-class striker – his numbers speak for themselves. Gary Neville recently lauded him as a player in the same calibre as the likes of Sergio Aguero and Roberto Firmino, but even then, I would be surprised if Klopp made a move for him this summer.
He turns 31 in June and could demand huge wages, both of which might not be considered a good combination by Klopp and sporting director Michael Edwards.
Chances are, Aubameyang could be a short-term fix, and it may also be hard to guarantee him regular starts with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino working so well as a unit.
On top of that, Liverpool’s interest in Timo Werner continues to look strong and I don’t see the need to bring in Aubameyang as well as the German this summer.
