Liverpool interested in non-league keeper McKenzie-Lyle

Liverpool are considering a shock move for non-league goalkeeper Kai McKenzie-Lyle, the Mirror reports.

The keeper underwent a trial last week as he started in a pre-season friendly for Liverpool’s Under-23 side, with the Reds now considering signing him on a permanent deal.

At just 20 years of age and standing at a staggering 6ft 7in tall, Mckenzie-Lyle could have a big future ahead of him and that future could be with the Reds.

Liverpool have already signed one keeper this summer after they completed a £65million deal to bring in Roma stopper Alisson earlier in the transfer window.

Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius are both being linked with moves away from the club, with Mignolet reportedly a surprise target for Barcelona.

However it is believed that Liverpool will refuse to sell the Belgian for anything less than £12million, despite Karius displacing him last season as the first choice keeper at Anfield.
