Liverpool went to the top of the Premier League, at least for a few hours, with a 2-0 home win against Fulham.
The Reds weren’t at their best in the first half and Fulham could have taken the lead. In fact, they thought they did but Aleksandar Mitrovic was given offside, a very tight decision.
Within a few seconds, Liverpool had gone up the other end and scored as a quick free-kick from Alisson found Trent Alexander-Arnold who put Mohamed Salah through to score.
The second half was much more comfortable and the result was confirmed when Xherdan Shaqiri nearly finished after an excellent cross by Andy Robertson.
