Liverpool came back from a goal down to beat Newcastle United 3-1 at Anfield and maintain their perfect start to the season.
Jetro Willems scored the opener for the away side, but a Sadio Mane double and Mohamed salah scoring restored normalcy for the Reds.
After a sloppy start to the game, Newcastle got the lead when Willems cut inside on his right foot on the left wing and pinged in a shot into the top corner.
Mane equalized after some good work from Andy Robertson and the Senegalese completed the comeback with a lucky finish after Martin Dubravka’s mistake.
In the second half, after the away side had a couple of chances to level things up, Salah combined up with Roberto Firmino to score the third goal for Liverpool. Firmino’s backheal to set up the Egyptian was classy.
