The mighty Reds will not be stopped.
It was a week full of dramatic comebacks for Liverpool, as they continue to provide incredible entertainment value.
First, Jurgen Klopp named a young starting lineup against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup. They trailed 3-1, 4-2 and then 5-4, before Divock Origi forced a penalty shootout with a 95th-minute equalizer.
Caoimhin Kelleher saved Dani Ceballos’ penalty and Curtis Jones secured the win with Liverpool fifth and final spot-kick.
Not to be outdone, a far more experienced team was reinstated for a tough match with Aston Villa, who were leading 1-0 for 87 minutes.
The Reds forced another comeback, though, despite the best efforts of VAR.
Sadio Mane set up Andy Robertson for the equaliser and then headed home the winner in the 95th minute.
