Liverpool have received ‘enquiries’ about the availability of Nathaniel Clyne, according to Sky Sports.
The 28-year-old has been injured since the summer, having picked up a cruciate ligament injury against Borussia Dortmund in pre-season.
He has fallen out of favour since the rise of Trent Alexander-Arnold, spending a spell on loan at Bournemouth last season.
A number of clubs are keen on making a move for the right-back, who could be allowed to leave Liverpool this month, having made a ‘step up in his recovery’.
His last appearance for the Reds came as a substitute at home to Arsenal in December 2018.

Assuming Clyne recovers fully from what is a serious injury, he still has plenty to offer as a player.
Liverpool have moved on without him, however, and a move away makes sense for all parties.
He has always been a solid performer during his time at Anfield, but he is no longer of the required standard, especially considering his fitness issues.
