Reports in the Daily Mirror suggest Jurgen Klopp is readying a bid for Roma’s Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson.
Alisson has been a long-term target for Liverpool and Klopp is set to step up his pursuit of the 25-year-old. If Alisson is to arrive on Merseyside, it would more than likely spell the end of Loris Karius’ time at Anfield.
The German made those two errors, although it was later established he had suffered a concussion in the Champions League final and the goalkeeper has done nothing to appease Liverpool fans by dropping another howler in a pre-season friendly against Tranmere.

There was speculation that Danny Ward would be given a chance to stake his claim for first-choice goalkeeper but it looks as though Alisson will be the man in between the sticks if Jurgen Klopp gets his way.
Liverpool are yet to make a formal offer for Alisson and face competition from Real Madrid and Chelsea, who see Alisson as Thibaut Courtois’ replacement should he leave the Bridge this summer.
Roma value Alisson at €70 million (£62 million) and if Liverpool are to challenge for silverware this summer, they need a reliable man in goal to make the difference when it matters most. Alisson would put a lot faith into Liverpool fans, something Loris Karius has lost.
