The atmosphere at Anfield on European nights has often been lauded and has been talked about by opposition players and managers as a reason why so-called ‘better’ teams have been humbled when they play there.
The stadium was rocking as Liverpool faced Manchester City last season and it caught the eye of PSG’s Adrien Rabiot, who took to social media to show his appreciation of the Liverpool supporters at the time.
The Reds have reportedly contacted Rabiot’s agent about a free transfer in the summer and Liverpool will hope that the Frenchman’s reported fandom of the club will lead to him agreeing to make a switch to Anfield.
