According to research from Nick Harris of Sporting Intel, Liverpool will officially be crowned as the Premier League champions at Goodison Park The Reds, Leicester City and Manchester City continue to amass points at their current rates.
If that happens, the Reds will be the first team in Premier League history to seal a title win in March, breaking the record for the earliest ever title win by a month.
Not only that, but if that trend continues, Liverpool will travel to play Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on April 4th having already been crowned league winners, meaning they would almost certainly be given a guard of honour by the current champions.

We imagine that plenty of Liverpool fans will be hoping to wrap a league title up as soon as possible and won’t really care when or where they get crowned champions so long as they finally win the Premier League.
However, the chance to potentially win the league at Goodison and subsequently get a Guard of Honour at the Etihad would just make any potential title win that extra bit special.
