Loan Watch: How did Liverpool’s loan players fare at the weekend?

Liverpool continued their unbeaten strike with Mo Salah’s strike giving the Reds a 1-0 victory away to Huddersfield Town.

The players out on loan had their own successes this week – let’s see how they do.

Danny Ings – Southampton

Ings played upfront in a 4-4-2, with Charlie Austin, for 79 minutes until he was replaced by Manolo Gabbiadini in a 0-0 draw away at Bournemouth.

The point meant that Southampton remained in 16th place after a difficult start in the Premier League.

Craig Bryson and Jack Marriot got the goals for the Rams and Chris Basham scored for the Blades.

Derby moved up to 5th place and Sheffield United moved down from 1st into second into the Championship.
