Loan Watch: How did Liverpool’s loan players fare at the weekend?

Liverpool were victorious at the weekend with Mohamed Salah, Xherdan Shaqiri and Sadio Mane netting in a 4-1 win over Cardiff City, but those on the field at Anfield weren’t the only Liverpool players in action over the weekend.

Let’s see how the players out on loan from the Reds did in their matches:

Danny Ings – Southampton

Ings played upfront with Charlie Austin in a 4-4-2 for the full game in a 0-0 draw at home to Newcastle.

The point meant that the Saints stayed in 16th place in their quest to stay in the Premier League.
