Liverpool remain interested in signing Jadon Sancho, but a recent report from Sport Bild, as translated by Sport Witness, has highlighted the potential flaws to his game.
The £117m-rated Borussia Dortmund star continues to be linked with a move to Anfield this summer, as he weighs up his options.
While this latest report suggests that Sancho is a good fit for Liverpool, they also mention that he has a weakness when it comes to counter-pressing – a key aspect of Jurgen Klopp’s style of play.
It is mentioned that he may have to accept a squad role to begin with, failing to take over from Mohamed Salah on the right wing.

While Sancho’s potential is undeniable, I think this shows why there must be some patience with him, should Liverpool complete a move for the England international.
At 19 years of age, the former Manchester City youngster remains raw in some areas of his play and he could be eased in by Klopp, allowing him to work on mastering the Reds’ pressing style.
There are various examples of Klopp doing the same with others players, whether it be Andy Robertson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain or Fabinho, with all three becoming key men over time.
They didn’t settle immediately, but more time on the training ground meant they soon knew exactly what was required of them.
I believe the ideal scenario would see Sancho similarly adjusting to life at Liverpool before eventually becoming a key man in 2020/21, when Salah and Sadio Mane could potentially move on.
By that point they will both be 29 and they may feel that one more big move makes sense in their respective careers, with Liverpool cashing in at the same time.
