Dejan Lovren has been tipped to join Tottenham this summer, as his Liverpool future looks bleak.
The Croatian could exit the Reds at the end of the season, following six years at the club.
Lovren has found himself down the centre-back pecking order in 2019/20, often being fourth-choice behind Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.
Speaking to Football Insider, former England defender Danny Mills said he believes the 30-year-old could replace Jan Vertonghen at Spurs.
He has slipped down the pecking order at Liverpool and there will now be teams looking to snap him up. He is still a good player. Although he has quality he does make a mistake from time to time.
There will be Premier League teams high up the table that are looking at his services.
He would be an obvious replacement for Jan Vertonghen were he to leave Spurs this summer.

I believe the time has come for Liverpool and Lovren to go their separate ways, with the centre-back too often proving to be inconsistent.
He is capable of good displays – he was as good as any Reds player in the 2018 Champions League final against Real Madrid – but he can also be hapless, as was the case at Watford last month.
With all due respect to Lovren, I wouldn’t be too happy if I was a Spurs fan hearing this news. As Jose Mourinho looks to improve matters in north London, the Liverpool man is unlikely to change as a player at this point in his career, continuing to be a clear target for supporters when things aren’t going his way.
