Liverpool remain second favourites to win the Premier League title, but there is no reason why this can’t be their year.
Harry Redknapp believes the Reds could be crowned champions, telling the Mirror that they look a better bet than Manchester City and former club Tottenham:
I think Man City and Liverpool are obviously strong favourites.
I also think Tottenham will get closer to the top two this year, so I just only see three teams.
However, Liverpool may be a bit better value price-wise than Man City.

City go into the new season as firm favourites to clinch a third successive Premier League crown, but Liverpool are right in the hunt.
It would be a surprise if the pair match their respective points totals from last season, with those around them strengthening and such a freakish level of consistency so hard to maintain.
The league is Liverpool’s primary focus, however, whereas pressure is beginning to build on City winning the Champions League, in order to be seen as a truly great side.
Could their focus turn away from league duties at some point, allowing the Reds to pounce? And how much will Vincent Kompany’s exit affect them, both on and off the pitch?
There is no denying that Pep Guardiola’s men have the edge, but this is a Liverpool side primed for a spectacular league campaign.
A quiet summer does not change that – Jurgen Klopp fully believes not changing a winning side can only lead to more success.
