Rhian Brewster is set to reject a move away from Liverpool by signing a new contract at Anfield, according to the Times.
Brewster is set to sign a new five-year contract with the Reds, with Jurgen Klopp convincing the striker to stay with Liverpool amid interest from Germany for the English youngster.
Brewster had been in talks with Borussia Monchengladbach. However, no move came about and Liverpool cancelled a friendly with the German side as a result.
The Youngster won the golden boot with England U17s at the U17 World Cup in India, where a young England side took home the cup after a sensational Summer for England’s youth sides.
Brewster had remained on a scholarship deal after his good Summer, and Liverpool feared he could make the move to Germany like so many young British talents have done.
However, Brewster is set to remain at Liverpool for the foreseeable future with his new five-year deal.
