Andy Robertson produced a brilliant response to a question regarding Manchester City’s defeat to Manchester United last weekend.
The reigning Premier League champions were beaten 2-0 at Old Trafford, meaning Liverpool need just six more points to secure title glory for the first time since 1990.
Robertson was on press conference duty on Tuesday, ahead of his side’s crucial Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid at Anfield.
When asked whether or not he watched City’s demise away to United, the Scot couldn’t help but smirk, before discussing how the result favoured Liverpool.

It is a clip that perfectly sums up Robertson as a character, in terms of his happy-go-lucky, but ultimately competitive, style.
The 26-year-old has a reputation for being a joker off the pitch, but on it, he is known to be spiky, as highlighted by incidents involving the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Ayoze Perez and Tom Davies.
Robertson will return to Liverpool’s starting lineup against Atletico, where his influence again looks set to be key.
